Chronic non-payment of child support by divorced and separated fathers and mothers has reached epidemic proportions in the U.S. and many other countries.

To help custodial parents collect the payments that they, and their children, are entitled to many states have set up agencies specifically for the enforcement of child support orders.

These agencies can be very helpful to custodial parents and can often eliminate the necessity of hiring a lawyer.
